  1. Are the credentials protected?

Are the credentials protected?

Yes. The credentials you provide for Viewer and Admin access are stored securely on your device in an encrypted format using AES-256.

If I purchase the Ads-Free version, do I still pay full price for the Tasker upgrades?

Nope! After purchasing the Ads free version, the Tasker-Upgrade you see will be discounted by the same amount that you paid for the ads-free upgrade.

Can I use this on the same device that is running IP Cam Viewer?

The short answer is yes! However, this app needs to communicate with IP Cam Viewer while it is running. In order to do this, put IP Cam Viewer in Background Audio Mode. Then launch IPCV Remote and enter the IP address as it was listed in IP Cam Viewers Settings. You CANNOT use the shortcut "localhost" (yet). Once you have defined the host, go back to the IPCV Remote main control page and load this host. Once it has loaded at least once, you can specify Tasker actions against that host. Actions sent through the main control page will be sent, but may not have any effect.

I purchased an upgrade, but when I installed on a different device, the upgrade didn't show up. Do I need to re-purchase it?

No. For the current versions, if you install on a new device, just visit the upgrade's screen and the app will recognize any previous purchases on your account. A future update will remove the need to navigate to the upgrades screen and will determine your purchases as soon as the app is launched (keep an eye on the What's New section).
